Arrival Details

Please plan to arrive by 5:30pm precisely so that we can get the scholars to their places and begin the program on time. When you arrive, students should be dropped off with their classroom teacher(s) who will help them find their seat. All students Kindergarten through 5th Grade must arrive no later than 5:30pm and remain for the entire program. Students arriving late may not be able to perform.

Parking

Parking at Irving Bible Church is very limited, so we strongly encourage families to ride together in one vehicle. If you are able to carpool with another family, that is even better!

Updated Student Pick Up Process

For  the safety of our students, we are changing the way students will be picked up by parents following the concert. Prior to the concert, your child will bring home a special, concert-specific placard with their name on it. Families will be issued one placard per student. It is very important that you bring the placard with you into the concert venue. Faculty will be present at the exterior doors checking that you have your placard in hand before you enter the building.

At the conclusion of the concert, you will present your placard to your child’s teacher for dismissal. Teachers will not dismiss students to adults without their concert placard. If you do not have your child’s placard, we will need to check your ID to allow you to manually sign out your child. For your convenience and the security of our students, please remember your placard!

It is appropriate for an occasion as special as a school concert that students give special attention to their attire and appearance. Our Family Handbook contains specific guidelines for student dress for musical concerts, which you can also find below.

Food and Drink

Irving Bible Church has very generously agreed to open its doors to our community. It is incumbent upon us to exemplify the same virtues of citizenship we encourage in our scholars in showing respect for Irving Bible Church’s facility and gratitude for their hospitality. Please do not bring food or drink into the sanctuary space. Please also help to pick up and throw away any paper or trash you see as you leave.

Using the Restroom

Once the students are seated with their teachers, they will not be allowed to leave the auditorium. Please ensure your child has used the restroom before handing them off to their teachers prior to the concert.
